Reading and face to face interactive play are a part of our daily routine. Circle time every morning promptly at 9:30 take place. Scheduled outdoor play (weather permitting) are implemented once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Art corner is available to them any time they want and will be teacher guided as well. Science and math center are also in arms reach of littles any time they feel and will be teacher guided play as well .
Music is a big part of The Felix School. Classical music will be played at times throughout the day. Musical instruments are provided- song and dance are strongly encouraged (we love to boogie)
Because of the low child to teacher ratio, I will be able to evaluate each child's progress. This will show me what curriculum will need to be implemented for the child's age-appropriate skills. Daily notes are sent home for parent to read about their little one's day and daily activities. Every semester a parent teacher conference will be offered to each family to go over each child's milestones and goals. In the daily notebooks parent are encouraged to write in them as well for a seamless and easy form of communication.
